Ordered food as takeout. They don’t usually do take out but were very accommodating. The staff was friendly and everything was prepared perfectly.

Very nice and clean, rooms are small ish but not too small to feel cramped. The bathtub in our room was not working but the shower was fine. Friendly staff, breakfast was good and affordable. Walking distance from the beach, you avoid having to pay for parking. Wifi didn't reach our room which was annoying as I needed it to get some work done, so I had to go outside to get a connection.

Owners are wonderful, so accommodating and helpful. Rooms are nicely renovated and clean. All the staff in the restaurant were amazing and food was delicious. Our first time snowmobiling in Quebec and so glad we choose La CACHE du LAC!

We had a weekend training about 25min away and stayed for one night on a Saturday. The room was a bit small but all right for an overnight stay. Very clean and quiet (except some snow mobile noises outside), the beds were very comfortable and firm, check-in was automized therefore quick and painless, and the restaurant was adorable (their ribs are delicious!) not to mention the wait staff that was lovely (a woman in her early twenties with a beautiful smile). It gets packed so reservations are essential due to high snow mobile activity on weekends. I will return if we go to another training or if I need a place to stay in the area. I'd love to experience it in the summer and enjoy the lakefront.

Nice hotel located just in front of the beach. Very clean, freshly renovated, friendly staff. The bathroom may seem too small, but as far as it’s clean, I’m good with it.

We stayed at the hotel over a mid-July weekend (Friday and Saturday) and had a wonderful experience overall. For the price, it’s excellent value. We were in Room 14 – "Mignonne", which, like all the rooms, has a unique name. I love that detail! The room was spotless upon arrival. Yes, as other reviewers have mentioned, it does have a strong disinfectant scent — but for us, it smelled more like a clean pool or spa, and it actually reassured us that the space had been properly cleaned. Check-in and amenities: The self check-in and check-out process using the DEA automated valet key panel was super convenient. Also, having assigned parking spots for each room is a big plus. Dining tip: It’s great that you can walk straight across the parking lot to the Bistro with the same name. They offer both breakfast and dinner, and I strongly recommend reserving in advance for dinner – it gets busy! Room & comfort: The air conditioning worked well, and the bed was firm yet comfortable. We appreciated the thoughtful touch of a small mini bar setup in the room, with clear pricing listed. We didn’t take anything, but it was nice to have the option. A small downside: The only bémol is that some guests aren’t always considerate. Some smoked near their room doors, and if you leave your window open, the smell can waft in — though that wasn’t an issue for us. More bothersome were guests chatting loudly in the hallway area right outside the rooms at night. Inside the room, soundproofing is great — you won’t hear your neighbors — but outside voices do carry. Suggestion to management: It might be worth adding a small sign reminding guests of quiet hours (e.g., 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM). It feels silly to have to spell it out, but unfortunately, common sense isn’t always so common. Final thoughts: We truly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely return. Also, kudos to the staff — our deposit was refunded promptly and the billing was transparent and honest. P.S.: A quick note of apology to the cleaning staff — the only bill I had on hand was a $5 U.S. bill. Hope it was okay!
